Goodwill Industries of Arkansas celebrates the grand opening of a new location at 4301 North Dixieland Rd in Rogers, Arkansas on Wednesday, May 22, at 8:45 a.m.
Goodwill Industries of Arkansas donation and retail stores provide employment and training opportunities for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment, and also fund the expansion of the organization’s job readiness services. Thanks to the record 1,280,214 transactions made the 2012 fiscal year, Goodwill Industries of Arkansas was able to provide 27,819 services to 6,581 individuals, place 1,112 in competitive employment and create 65 new jobs in that time period.
“Goodwill has served Arkansas for over 85 years,” said President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Arkansas, Brian Itzkowitz. “We are growing and actively responding to the needs of Arkansans who require assistance to overcome barriers and gain independence.”

The new Rogers location at 4301 N. Dixieland Rd. at the intersection of Pleasant Crossing Dr. will serve as both a retail center and career education center with Donation Drive-Thru.
