Turpentine Creek: Grizzly Bear Habitat Grand Opening | Environment
Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge is opening a brand new grizzly bear habitat on November 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
Their 6-year old grizzly bear and resident star, Bam Bam, will feel grass between his huge paws for the first time as he walks into his 1/4 acre natural habitat, featuring an in-ground swimming pool and a waterfall, thanks to all of the donations made by Bam Bam's many fans.
Bam Bam is the only grizzly bear at Turpentine Creek, one of the largest big cat sanctuaries in the United States. The refuge is located at 239 Turpentine Creek Lane in Eureka Springs, AR.
