Free Holiday Skating Rink to Open at Pinnacle Hills Promenade

– Looking for something to do this Holiday Season?  Bring your family, friends and neighbors for a FREE fun-filled holiday skating excursion starting December 8 through December 28 at Pinnacle Hills Promenade in Rogers.

 

Everyone can enjoy the Holiday Season in a festive outdoor environment at the Pinnacle Hills Promenade Skating Rink, located near the Food Pavilion and the Malco Theater. Skates will be provided at no charge.  Ice skaters are welcome to bring their own. Skaters do have to be at least 5 years of age and taller than 38” to participate.

Neighborhood Park Grand Opening

Bentonville Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of our newest neighborhood park at 601 SE D Street.  The Grand Opening Ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012.  A neighborhood cookout will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 11:30 a.m.

Rogers Public Library Seeks Community Input

ROGERS, AR – Area residents have an opportunity to help the Rogers Public Library plan for the

future. A survey covering aspects of library service is now being circulated. “The primary purpose for

conducting the survey,” said library consultant Nicole Stroud, “is for the community to express what it

wants in its library.

Benton County Recognizes National Preparedness Month

Bentonville, Ark—Whether it is a flood, tornado, or hazardous materials release, emergencies and disasters can affect Benton County residents at any time.  Benton County Judge Robert D. Clinard signed a proclamation making September National Preparedness Month.  “Recent events such as Hurricane Isaac, this year’s droughts, and the flooding we experienced a year ago remind us of the importance of being prepared”, Judge Clinard commented.

Bella Vista Village Sponsors Fall ‘White Goods’ Pick Up

The Bella Vista Village Property Owners Association will sponsor a fall 'white goods' pick up from Oct. 15-19.

 

Residents must call between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, through Thursday, Oct. 11, in order to schedule a pick up. Collections will not be scheduled outside of the designated timeframe.

 Money Magazine Ranks Rogers on List of Best Places to Live

CNN Money released Money Magazine’s annual list of America’s best small cities today ranking Rogers #67 in its Top 100.

Described as an “upscale picturesque burb,” CNN Money cited the city’s amenities, affordable housing and prestige of hosting the annual LPGA’s Walmart NW Arkansas Championship as just a few of the factors earning the city a spot on the list.

Additionally, the editors noted the community’s commitment to further improving residents’ quality of life by investing in a new sports complex and $13 million aquatic center.

Bella Vista Village and its RV Park will get more national exposure when featured in the 2013 Good Sam RV Travel Guide & Campground Directory.

Trailer Life Directory and Woodall Publications, publishers of “North America’s top two campground directories and leading campground search websites and mobile applications,” are merging in 2013 to form the “super directory.”
