AT&T Brings Virtual Texting While Driving Simulator to the Jones Center

AT&T continues its mission to educate and inform youths across Arkansas about the dangers of texting while driving. As part of the “It Can Wait” movement, AT&T is taking the virtual texting while driving chair simulator around the state from March 28th through April 5th. On March 31st, the virtual simulator is making its way to The Jones Center to provide youths a 3-D driving simulation that re-creates the eyes-off-the-road and hands-off-the-wheel experience of texting while driving.

Public Meeting For Rogers Street Project

A public information meeting will be held by the City of Rogers on August 9, 2012 at the Bellview Elementary School at 5400 South Bellview Road.    Representatives from the City of Rogers and McClelland Consulting Engineers, Inc. will be available from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Bentonville Intersection Becomes 4-Way Stop

On Friday, July 20, beginning at 10:00 a.m., the intersection of NW “A” and NW 2nd Street (by Harps grocery store) will temporarily become a 4-way stop intersection.  The existing intersection currently requires stops on NW 2nd, but the through traffic on NW “A” does not. 

On Friday, all four legs of the intersection will be required to stop. 

This is being done due to several factors which have increased traffic at that intersection, one of which is the current closure of E.
